Annoyed by the warning sound when you buckle up just a moment too late or briefly release the belt while driving? We disable the beltminder's warning tone in the configuration data – the simple button combination has been disabled by Ford on many vehicles from model year 2021 onwards.
If the warning is fully disabled, including the icon, most vehicles will sound a four-time chime at every start to indicate that the beltminder is inactive. This depends on the vehicle's software level and cannot be changed.
